How we source and verify
The rules this site follows about where facts come from, how they are cited, and what happens when something cannot be checked.
A reference site is only worth as much as its sourcing. These are the rules this site works to. They are not aspirations — they are the reason pages look the way they do.
Only what an authority has published
Every fact on this site must be traceable to a document published by the body that actually governs the process: a medical council, the National Medical Commission, a national board, a foreign regulator, or a government department. Not a coaching blog, not a forum post, not another compilation site, and not general knowledge.
Cited and dated, on the page
Each page carries the sources it was built from, with the date each was read. Every page also carries a last verified date. That date is the honest claim: not that the information is correct today, but that it matched the authority’s published page on that day.
Gaps are shown, not filled
Where an authority publishes nothing, or publishes it somewhere that cannot be read, the field is left visibly empty and the page is marked unverified. A page that looks complete but was never checked is more dangerous than one that admits what it does not know — particularly here, where people act on what they read.
Pages go stale on purpose
A page that has not been re-checked for more than a year displays that fact to the reader. Rules change, fee schedules are revised, portals move. Silence about age would be its own kind of error.
Compiled, not copied
This site compiles facts into a structure that did not exist before. It does not reproduce other people’s pages, and it checks the terms of any source before drawing on it systematically.
No claims about named institutions or individuals
This site records what authorities publish about processes. It does not publish assessments, allegations or crowd-sourced accounts concerning named colleges, hospitals or people — however widely believed those accounts may be.
No personal data
The site has no accounts and collects nothing from readers. See Privacy.
